According to the latest air cargo news report, Delta Airlines is going to boost its route portfolio by adding two new flights to Trans-Atlantic routes soon from next summer. It is announced by Delta airlines that the new flights are going to operate from hubs of Midwest. It is expected that the airline is going to provide daily flights in between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Rome along with six flights that are going to operate every week in between Detroit and Munich. It is also announced by airlines that the new flights are going to start their operations from May 26, 2016. In addition, the airline also said that the new service is going to start its operations along with some joint partners namely, Air France, Alitalia and KLM. Overall five new routes are going to be offered by Delta Airlines covering maximum part of Atlantic region from next summer. The five new routes are going to be introduced in between New York-JFK and Edinburgh belonging to Scotland, Detroit and Munich, Raleigh-Durham and Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Salt Lake City of London and Heathrow, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Rome.
All these new routes are going to increase the route portfolio expanding their fight services to complete Trans-Atlantic region. The senior vice president of Delta Airlines named Dwight James said that the five new routes are going to be profitable for their airlines initiating seasonal service for complete summer in 2016, across the Trans-Atlantic region. He added that the new route between Detroit and Munich is going to be significant for corporate customers who are frequently travelling from Detroit to Munich. In addition, the new route between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Rome is an adding service for the earlier hub service present in Rome. He also said that the new flights introduced are exclusive in facilities and amenities providing extreme comfort to customers. He said that the amenities of the new service are premium type assuring best service among all their flight services provided across the Atlantic region.
Among the added new routes in the route portfolio of Delta Airlines, the new route introduced between Detroit and Munich is going to be the second flight operating daily in between Germany and Motor city. Delta airline is going to provide its flight services mainly to four destinations of Germany. The main destinations of Germany include Munich, Dusseldorf, Stuttgart and Frankfurt. It is known from a source that the flight is going to be operated using a new model Boeing 767-400ER aircraft. Moreover, it is going to be one stop service connecting to Munich and is going to be a best choice for customers who are travelling to Munich, in particular, for customers belonging to Pacific Northwest and Midwest. Overall the newly introduced routes are going to enhance the flight route of Delta Airlines and at the same time increasing profits.
